Rock the Gap 2007
What?
The 5th Annual Rock the Gap is an evening of classic rock music appealing to
all adults. A complete salmon dinner is served with area wines and beer.
Racers and the community are all welcome!
When?
After the Gap2Gap Relay, Saturday, June 2.
5:30: Happy Hour
6:00: Gourmet barbequed salmon dinner (vegetarian option available by pre-order)
7:00: The band starts - Yakima's own Blind Lemon Pie playing classic rock
Where?
Sarg Hubbard Park on the Yakima Greenway, under the big tent
Why?
For fun - the first event of the season! Funds raised will benefit the Greenway
and MLK, Jr. Elementary School's wheelchair accessible playground.
Who?
The event is put on by Kiwanis Club of Yakima and Yakima Greenway Foundation.
Tickets are available through the Kiwanis Club and Yakima Greenway office.
$40 includes admission, dinner, a souvenir glass and scrip for a beverage ($45
at the door). Racers plus one guest can buy tickets for $20 each! VIP
tables are also available for $350, which includes admission for 8 people, with
dinner, souvenir glasses, and scrip, plus a bottle of wine for the table. Contact jeff@yakimagreenway.org at
