WE NEED YOUR HELP!
As you are aware, recent fires along the Yakima Greenway have resulted in significant destruction of hundreds of acres of sensitive riparian habitat. Throughout this spring and summer the Yakima Greenway team has been hard at work to restore a safe environment along our parks and pathways. Countless hours have been dedicated to falling hazardous trees, clearing pathways, cleaning abandoned encampments, identifying and reducing excess fuels near our valuable infrastructure and advocating for increased cooperation and community safety in these public spaces.
EVERY DONATION COUNTS
In order for us to continue to preserve and enhance this community resource our emergency clean up efforts must continue. This work has created an unexpected shortfall in our organizations maintenance budget of $23,000. As a 501(c)3 that receives no tax dollars, we rely 100% on the generosity of our community. Any and all contributions make a significant difference in our effort to clean up hazardous areas while filling our budget shortfall so we can continue normal park and pathway maintenance.
WHAT WILL YOUR DONATE DO?
WE CAN'T DO THIS WORK WITHOUT YOU
