We are entirely supported by people like you!
Every cent donated to Maintain A Mile impacts our ability to provide a safe and clean Greenway. As a privately funded Non-Profit, our parks and pathways are maintained by your generosity. The Yakima Greenway Foundation receives no tax income when you give. YOU make the difference.
Maintain A Mile Today!
Your support allows us to continue to keep our parks clean and our pathways safe and clear. Your donation goes directly to repairing, improving and preserving our 20 miles of trails, waters and parks. We cannot do this without you. There are three ways to give to Maintain A Mile:
- A one-time donation of your choosing
- A recurring monthly donation of your choosing
- Adopt A Mile club (more info below)

Your donations will fuel our maintenance carts for daily trail upkeep, purchase supplies to repair potholes, pay for repairs and maintenance of our snow removal equipment, and help fund litter pickup and landscaping projects along the rivers and much more.
Take your support to the next level!
Starting in 2025, you, your family, service club or business will have the opportunity to Adopt A Mile on the Yakima Greenway. Support what you love and enjoy signage on your mile for one year! Adopt A Mile donation levels are:
- $5000 to Adopt A Mile for 2025
- $2500 Share a mile for 2025
Benefits of Adopt A Mile include prominent signage located on your mile, one-time use of the Greenway visitor center during the year for an event of your choosing. Recognition on all of the Greenway's communication channels along with recognition on a Adopt A Mile donor map located in the Visitor Center. We would also like to encourage Adoptees to join us for one work party during the year, this is a great way to give back, bond with your special group and make a difference in our community!
It is our goal to have all 20 miles of the Greenway adopted in 2025!
