The final run launches from Sarg Hubbard Park and sends racers charging down the Yakima Greenway for one last push. Following the river toward Sherman Park, the course loops through familiar Greenway miles before turning back for an all-out finish. With the end in sight, this fast, high-energy leg is where athletes dig deep, empty the tank, and race home to complete the Gap2Gap.

Timing Chips:
Race Timing Chips will consist of the chip on a ankle/wristband. Iron/Solo racers must where there timing chip at all times throughout the race. If you are racing as a team, the participant doing the first run will collect the teams timing chip before the race begins. The chip will not read if it is concealed in any way (in a closed hand, your pocket etc). DO NOT LOSE YOUR TIMING CHIP. Teams & Iron participants are responsible for cost of replacing lost timing chips.
Registration:
A designated team representative must pick up the team’s race packet prior to the race. The packet includes the team timing chip, racing bibs, and T-shirts, and the designated representative is responsible for distributing these items to team members. There will be no extra racing bibs available at the exchange areas. Iron Division solo racers must pick up their own race packets prior to the race.
Equiptment:
Appropriate attire for a race on pavement is required. Earbuds, headphones or similar music/audio systems are NOT allowed to be used by the racers while competing.
After Your RUn:
This is the final leg of the Gap2Gap, whether you raced as a team or as an iron! There will be food and beverages provided at the finish for all participants.
Parking/Pickup:
This final run marks the completion of Gap2Gap, and once you cross the finish line there are no additional transitions. Whether racing as a team or in the Iron Division, athletes may take time to gather their gear, reconnect with teammates, and enjoy post-race food and festivities. Please be mindful as you load equipment and prepare to leave the venue, following all volunteer instructions to help keep the finish area safe, organized, and welcoming for everyone.
