FAMILY FUN FEST
August 21st

Family Fun Fest is a free community event that brings families together for a day of outdoor fun along the Yakima Greenway. Enjoy free activities like kayaking, a climbing wall, face painting, a giant slip and slide, and a bike rodeo, along with local food vendors, community booths, live entertainment, and plenty of opportunities to explore, play, and make lasting memories together.

No registration necessary for this event. Come anytime and enjoy the festivities!

You can bring your own bike for the bike rodeo but there will be bikes available to use as well.

Kayaking

Enjoy free kayaking and experience the Yakima Greenway from the water. Whether it's your first time or you're an experienced paddler, it's a fun way to explore the river.

Slip n Slide

Beat the summer heat on our giant slip and slide! Bring your swimsuit, cool off, and enjoy one of the most exciting attractions at Family Fun Fest.

Community booths

Visit a variety of community booths to meet local organizations, discover valuable resources, and learn about the programs, services, and opportunities available throughout the Yakima Valley.

Bike Rodeo

Test your bike handling skills on our fun obstacle course designed to help riders build confidence and improve their cycling skills. It's a great activity for young riders of all experience levels.

Face Painting

Stop by the face painting station and let the Girl Scouts transform you into your favorite animal, superhero, or colorful creation. It's a favorite activity for kids of all ages.

Food/Drink Vendors

Take a break and enjoy delicious food, refreshing drinks, and sweet treats from a variety of local food and beverage vendors throughout the event. There's something for everyone to enjoy.
